The Last Airbender opened in second place at the box office behind The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Many criticized the screenplay, acting, direction, casting, plot holes, unfaithfulness to the source material, characters, and 3D conversion.
ROKU AND SOZIN GAY SEX ART SERIES
Whereas the animated series received widespread acclaim, the film was panned by critics, audiences, and fans of the original series upon its release, and is widely considered to be one of the worst films ever made. The film tells the story of Aang, a young Avatar who must master all four elements of Air, Water, Earth and Fire and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water Tribes and the Earth Kingdom from declared war and restored balance to their world. Premiering in New York City on June 30, 2010, it opened the following day in the rest of the United States, grossing an estimated $16 million that day. It was produced by Nickelodeon Movies and distributed by Paramount Pictures. Based on the first season of the Nickelodeon animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender, the film stars Noah Ringer as Aang, with Dev Patel as Prince Zuko, Nicola Peltz as Katara, and Jackson Rathbone as Sokka. he wants his honor back, and he wants acceptance and family and it’s why he was able to grow, and why, though aang and roku are so fundamentally similar, only aang’s had the perceived end result. The Last Airbender is a 2010 American action- adventure fantasy film written, co-produced and directed by M. zuko doesn’t necessarily strive for power he never really thinks about having the throne for himself. however, the two had such drastically different outcomes, and that’s because zuko never had that power to corrupt him, his banishment forcing him to face the truth beyond the fire nation whereas sozin always had his place on the throne and never really had anything more to strive for beyond power. this all boils down to the fact that both avatars believed in the same things: seeing the good in people, while sozin and zuko both believed in the throne. Then this is paralleled with his grandfathers, sozin and roku, who, if they hadn’t thought they could ever be on the same side, perhaps would have been able to stop the war in the first place.
it’s a little ironic when you remember that the only reason zuko keeps running into him is because he wants to catch him to regain his honor. even though iroh is absolutely considered a catalyst in zuko’s redemption arc, without aang’s indirect influence, zuko wouldn’t have made crucial steps to becoming a better person. he releases appa for aang because his uncle tells him it’s the right thing to do. he saves aang, even if it’s for selfish reasons. even going as far back as the blue spirit, and zuko releasing appa, aang continuously acts as indirect ways that zuko does good things. he believes in zuko’s potential to be good, welcomes him into the group, and zuko helps them win the war. The big difference between aang and roku’s situations, however, is that while roku relied too much on his friendship with sozin, aang’s belief that there’s good in everyone (like when he asks zuko, “do you think we could have been friends?” after they save each other, even though zuko, at that time, still has the one goal of hunting him down) ends up saving him in the end. both roku and aang are avatars with great regrets in their life that if they had done differently, could have stopped the war - in roku’s case, not sparing/trusting sozin before it was too late in aang’s, not running away and thus getting stuck in ice for 100 years. zuko and sozin both are royalty in the fire nation but while sozin had the throne and grew cruel and power hungry the longer he had it, zuko had to lose everything that had to do with the crown, furthering his character development to a kinder, better person before he finally took the throne. contrastingly, zuko and aang started off as enemies and grew to be friends. Sozin and roku started off as friends and later grew to be enemies.
